This Friday I learned my installation proposal, “Unintended Habitat,” was accepted into the City of Tacoma’s Artscapes program! Stay tuned in the coming days for information on when and where I will be showing and for periodic updates on constructing the installation components.
“Unintended Habitat” will provide an opportunity for the public to magically transport themselves from the city streets of Tacoma, to under the Narrows Bridge where they will explore engineering history and learn how nature adapted this engineering catastrophe into one of the richest habitats for sea life in an engaging diorama of Tacoma’s biggest pop culture icon “Galloping Gertie.”
Congratulations, Jenn!
I am so proud of you!
Love, Mom
