You Are Your Own Sysadmin
Completed Sept 2025
You Are Your Own Sysadmin is a neon manifesto for autonomy in an age of surveillance. This series twists geek humor and underground art into unapologetic posters that laugh, snarl, and glow where conformity expects silence.

We are told we have no choice. Sit still, play nice, consume what we’re fed, accept the leash. But that’s lazy sysadmin-ing of the self.
The You Are Your Own Sysadmin series is my refusal to obey that script. These neon posters are part manifesto, part inside joke — a reminder that autonomy doesn’t have to be tidy or respectable. Sometimes the best choice sucks, sometimes it takes work, but it’s still yours to make.
Each piece — Neon Kiss, Neon Bow Tie, Neon Good Pets, and Chaotic Pets — is an art intervention against surveillance culture and spoon-fed consumerism. They laugh, jeer, growl, and howl in six unruly colorways, glowing like protest signs in spaces that beg you to comply.
